Fresh Start Family Day Care is a home day care offering safe, fun, loving, educational care in a home setting in a large addition separate from the family home. The very large backyard offers a safe and private place for enjoying much needed outdoor play exercise.
Fresh Start Family Day Care is open year round from 6:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for children ages 3 month to 8 years old. I am open to school age students for before and after school care. I am also available for school age children during school professional days off and for half days of school.
The Oak Ridge School bus picks up and drops off children at the bottom of my driveway where I see the children off each morning and / or greet them after school each day.
I am located close to the Oak Ridge School, Sandwich High School and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital for teachers, nurses and therapist looking for flexible child care.
Although I am opened year round, there is the option to follow the school year for teachers with the summers off.
I am also conveniently located just off of Exit 3 on Quaker Meeting House Road in East Sandwich for easy access to Routes 6 and 6 A.
Fresh Start Family Day Care belongs to Yours for Children Inc. Food Program. Children are offered healthy meals by following the nutritional requirements established by the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Breakfast, morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided by Fresh Start Family Day Care by simply signing the forms to enroll in the program. The program is optional.
Fresh Start Family Day Care is in agreement with Child Care Network in Hyannis, as well as with PACE Child Care Works of New Bedford.
All play equipment for an infant is provided by Fresh Start Family Day Care. Parents are welcomed to bring their own infant accessories if they would prefer. Parents do need to provide bottles, formula / breast milk, diapers, wipes and any ointments and / or lotions.
Each morning before snack the children gather for circle time. At Cirlce Time the children are introduced to the Theme of the Week, Letter and Number of the week, as well as the Calendar, the Weather Bear and the Weather Chart.
Stories and Songs also go along with the theme of the week.
